Adelaide’s sizzling new comers The New Yorks might just be the leaders in a new wave of Australian indie rock. Sharp and to the point, these kids go straight to what they enjoy and pump out some super catchy jams, laden with bangin’ guitar work and a gravely smooth lyrical delivery combo.

Kicking off the release of their EP, I Wish I Was You, But That’s Just Me, late last month, was the single We Enjoy This Too Much and subsequent film clip that ruled harder than scoring a banknote blowing down the road. Crammed with catchy hooks, VHS nostalgia, and the Wolfman before, during and after his fall from grace, this single creates a delicious feast for both ears and eyes. Part pet, part beast, The New Yorks are making every night a full moon-party.
