When people realised the power of connecting through the web, it wasn’t long until people all around the world began to share their favourite music. As time rolls on and different online platforms and services get better. We evolve and keep finding new ways to create audio and visual that connects with others. Now, this is not a new concept it has been done by artists of significance before especially in the 80’s and early 90’s. A static style of words fading in and out in time with audio carried over to the Internet when fans started making their own lyric videos.

Artists took note and started to create their own renditions of the creative aspect of the people and some have done it great, others not so great. Andy Ward has put forth a video that complements the smooth yet sharp vocals that intertwine uplifting electronica. Taking the listener through the motions this track is designed to evoke an emotional response. One great thing about music videos is they’re open to the interpretation of the viewer. This video can mean many different things to each person who watches it. The symbolization of running through the bush sets closely with the lyrics and when he makes it to the beach could mean the freedom he was looking for. Then again, who knows… Overall the imagery set within the video is beautiful and fits with perfected ease for the vocals of Andy Ward.
