We’ve all been to Monday Land at least once in our lives. You know it, that feeling of death lingers over you as you descend into the darkness of your mind. Thinking, why did I do this to myself, was it all really worth it. Once again I’ve missed work! But, do I really give a fuck. We all know the answer to this and that answer is no. Spending the day under the blanket is heaven compared to being around people who don’t understand your pain. LenParrot articulates this quite well with their latest song Monday Land if you take the time to listen to the lyrics you cannot help but feel a sense of sadness.

A concerned partner filled with anguish from their lovers decent into depression is the storyline that LenParrot has created. The synth coupled with a range of vocals unleashes a wide range of emotions throughout Monday Land which is great. This is a well thought out track which is reminiscent of nineties group Machine Gun Fellatio with a modern touch. Whilst watching the music video you’ll get drawn into the nostalgia of the 1950’s it is a look back in time when life was much different. Overall LenParrot has created something really beautiful that will continue to grow on you the more you listen. Be on the lookout for their upcoming album which is produced by none other than Yuksek.
