Washed Out is welcoming summertime in the Northern Hemisphere in the best way possible, releasing a summer vibe track that captures the inner sanctum of the mind. Imagine yourself by the pool or on a beach with a pinà colada in one hand throwing good vibes out with the other whilst in a trance like state. This is the sound of bliss. Keeping within the parameters of what die hard Washed Out fans have come to expect and love, he has definitely upped the groove with this track Get Lost. Encompassing so much variety in the layers of sound from the bass line to the sax solo each element gels to create one beautiful collage of sound.

The accompanying music video is no different with its Don Johnson feel. It is like an ode to the eighties that takes you on a journey from Venice to Hollywood and everywhere in between. This animation is done really well and you will draw you into the visual narrative. Directed by Harvey Benschoter, is a colourful animated story using solely magazine cut outs.
