Solomon O has delivered a resplendent artistic feature for the music video of Holograms. This clever animation takes you through a storyline of a man’s love being questioned by his god. How this, in turn, can relate to how we as people feel about artificial intelligence. As Solomon O describes “If we want real love from AI, then they’ll need real free will; which brings the risk they’ll hate and kill us. Real freedom requires creating this new closed system who’s experience we can’t know.”

Enlisting the help of Brisbane artist Dan Aubin, the music video features a collection of artworks and imagery created by the artist. When turned into animation the story is there to be seen and heard in one visually stimulating piece. The instrumentation and smooth vocals heighten the experience whilst viewing Holograms. This is a song with a seamless flow between vocals, percussion and synths.

Solomon O has garnered a lot of positive attention and praise both locally and worldwide with the release his debut single Holograms. As an artist, you could not ask for a better start as you venture into the world of releasing music. The Brisbane-based artist has also been working on more material that we hope to see released in the coming months. Let’s hope his new work is as enthralling as Holograms.
