Shot on a late summer night in east London, Goodhood store’s latest skate edit To Those Who Wonder is a must see. The film utilizes glitter in a manner that plays more as a piece of performance art being recorded than a typical skate video incorporating the femininity of the skater.

In 2007, partners Kyle Stewart and Jo Sindle, who had both previously worked for denim labels, were on a mission to showcase select goods from brands that shared their ideas of independence and exclusivity. After originally stocking women’s and men’s clothing, the pair’s discerning eye and knack for the niche quickly saw them enjoying success online and opening a lifestyle store across the cobbles from the original site last year.
One such jewel in the crown is east London the store’s aesthetic and curatorial know-how has earned it a remarkable level of clout. Goohood delivers the goods too. The light-filled, loft-like boutique houses an established edit of avant-garde men’s and womenswear, from game-changers like Comme des Garçons and Maison Martin Margiela to up-and-coming trend-benders Unused and YMC, as well as a full range of kidswear to keep the mini-mes in up-to-the-minute style.
